Poster

Sofar Sounds is a group that holds intimate music gigs and concerts at unique venues. They needed a poster that wasn’t the cliché music poster. They wanted something as unique as their venue and as mysterious as their gig. The only things to be included in the poster were the artist names, the Sofar socials and logo, as well as the date and general location. An exact venue was not to be used unless otherwise told to do so.

The Design

The inspiration for the poster on the left is from the children’s book “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom” as well a contemporary take on simplified palm tree leaves. Designed on Illustrator.

The poster on the right was inspired by western things in accordance with the location name of “West Loop.” Designed on Illustrator and Photoshop.
